As global Chief Operating Officer of Equity Private Markets (EPM), I am responsible for the daily oversight and business operations for private markets equity investing at BlackRock, which encompasses direct private equity (including venture and growth equity strategies), infrastructure, real estate as well as secondaries. I provide dedicated leadership support across human capital, technology, and operational functions and am responsible for BlackRock's Private Markets Platform capabilities that drive the success of private markets equity, debt, and multi-alternatives investment strategies across the firm. Prior to BlackRock, I spent 21 years at Goldman Sachs where I held several leadership positions across many of their core businesses focused on business development, transformation, and operational oversight. I was named Managing Director in 2010 and Partner in 2018. My core competencies include process improvement, customer relationship management, new business development, international operations, and strategic planning. I am passionate about delivering operational excellence, enhancing organizational agility and efficiency, and supporting the growth and innovation of BlackRock's Private Markets platform. I am also committed to fostering a culture of collaboration, diversity, and inclusion across my team and the broader organization.I earned a Bachelor of Business Administration, ("BBA") in International Marketing and Finance from Baruch College, City University of New York and serve on several civic, educational and community-centric boards dedicated to equipping diverse communities with equitable access to information and support that will furthers their advancement. Boards of note include: Brick Education Foundation, the Baruch College Fund (BCF), Trinity Hall School and as founder and Chair of Crown Heights Youth Initiative.
