I heard this quote or something similar to this constantly while growing up, “Find something you love to do, and you’ll never have to work a day in your life” – Harvey Mackay. Once I graduated, my struggle with this was “well… what if I love to do a lot of things?”, “what if I love to help people around me?”, “what if I love to talk to people and let them tell me their story?”, etc. There was never ONE sole thing, but generally speaking, I could “help” others through so many different avenues, that the first opportunity after college as a Staffing Recruiter felt like a great start. Recruiting, for me personally, has such a unique way of creating an impact on someone’s life. Even though I am not meeting a candidate in-person, a phone call can be very powerful in building relationships. I am an opportunity seeker, goal oriented, and self-motivated individual and through my career my main goal has been to help others find their potential and challenge themselves to new opportunities and different avenues. With my diverse background (being raised in El Salvador and Spanish being my native language) I am strongly interested in creating an impact in diversity and inclusion, leadership development, and community engagement. I have spent 6 years in the recruiting field in both staffing and corporate environments, leading me to meet the needs of the headquarters of Bank of America as a Campus Recruiter.
