I am a seasoned executive with diverse experience within the ambulatory surgery center field. Often sought out as an expert within my field, I am a Certified Administrator of Surgery Center (CASC) and have served on the board of TASCA since 2005. During the last seventeen years, I’ve built considerable relationships with the TN ASC lobbying team and state representatives. I have significant experience building and maintaining high quality effective relationships at all levels – owners, staff, vendors etc. I am results driven with demonstrated skills in developing business process improvement opportunities and leading them to implementation. My experience, industry knowledge and first hand expert knowledge of my field demonstrates what it takes to be a successful facility Administrator and Executive Director. Maintains best-in-class benchmarking results in all areas - financial and clinical. Develops and maintains all center policies and procedures. Conducts cost per case analysis and implements efficiency improvements to reduce costs of materials and supplies to drive incremental profit. Establishes partnerships with external vendors and insurance companies to execute effective contracts that are conducive to the facility. Maintains deep knowledge of state, federal and AAAHC regulations. Spearheaded ten AAAHC accreditation surveys as well as numerous federal, state and fire and life safety surveys. Critical driving force in obtaining the Certificate of Need to build 4 surgical facilities, designing of the centers, purchasing the equipment and supplies, licensure and accreditation and staffing the surgery centers.
