- Develop intake form and process for the healing justice program- Provide direct support to legal observers impacted by state violence via intake sessions, 1:1 healing justice/therapy sessions, and facilitation of support groups on an ad hoc basis- Content development and copy editing support of the healing justice publication, Trauma in the Face of State Violence: A Guide for Legal Workers and Activists

Provided daily support and supervision to a unit of Child Welfare Workers in the Dependency Investigations/Court Unit program, which included:- Ensuring casework compliance with applicable laws, regulations, policies, and rules of court- Thoroughly reviewing and revising a high volume of sensitive, complex court documents under demanding time frames- Coaching and development of staff toward integration and implementation of Safety Organized Practice tools in their daily case work to help decrease personal bias in the assessment of child risk and safety- Representing the agency during court proceedings as needed

Provided reunification services to families involved with the child welfare system which included:- Case management support; case plan development; service delivery coordination; prompt and thoughtful crisis management; safety planning- Assisting families in building and strengthening support networks; coordinating and facilitating support team meetings- Holistically assessing the strengths and needs of families; supporting parents in mitigating child safety concerns - Providing recommendations to the juvenile court regarding family reunification via detailed court reports and testimony as needed- Developing relationships with community organizations to link families to relevant and accessible support services- Balancing urgent and competing needs on a daily basis

- Founded LGBTQ youth community center, Our Space: Where it is Safe to be Yourself to center the experiences of current & former homeless, foster and incarcerated youth in the community- Managed day-to-day operations and program budget; secured funding via grants, government contracts, and private donations to quadruple the program staff and budget; hired, coached and supervised direct service and clinical staff; participated in strategic planning; developed and revised agency policies and procedures; inspired confidence and hope among staff through agency transition and change- Analyzed county-wide service gaps for systems-impacted LGBTQ youth; developed strategic partnerships with child welfare and community-based agencies to address identified gaps; collected and analyzed qualitative and quantitative data to asses program impact- Served on local child welfare and juvenile justice reform committees in support of policy and practice reform; provided community-based and organizational consultation and training- Authored publication, beFIERCE! - Provided trauma-informed mental and behavioral health needs assessments, therapy, and case management services to transition-age foster youth- Collaborated with community partners (child welfare workers, medical and legal providers, school staff) and families towards increasing positive outcomes and permanency for transition-age foster youth- Documented client services in clinical reports (daily clinical notes, assessments, and treatment plans) according to Medi-Cal billing standards
