With over fifteen years’ experience in an accounting and business setting, I have gained a well-rounded set of skills. In my current position working for Organic Prairie my attention to detail is helpful in identifying errors, correcting them, and helping to ensure that the company’s credibility is protected. A great deal of the work I do builds the company’s Profit and Loss statement and balance sheet, making accuracy especially important. In addition, I have years of experience with Excel and computerized accounting systems. In the past, I have been a key member in an ERP Migration Project. I also made significant process improvements by creating Excel documents with a set of specific rules which decreased errors. My background includes a strong knowledge of general ledger account reconciliation, cost analysis, inventory management, and financial statement analysis as well. As a result of my work and college experience, I have gained a passion for accounting and am very eager to learn new skills.
