• Provides individual and family therapy and case management services through the Denver Health School-Based Clinic to students attending the following schools on the Montbello campus: Montbello High School, Denver Center of International Studies (DCIS), Collegiate Prepatory Academy (CPA), P.U.S.H., and Special Education program during the 2011-2012 Denver Public Schools (DPS) Academic Year• Assesses, diagnoses, treats, and manages a caseload of 25-30 clients with a wide range of psychiatric diagnoses (e.g., adjustment, anxiety, eating, impulse-control, mood, psychotic, and substance abuse disorders) and a history of trauma• Accrued 1,792/3,360 hours of post-degree work experience towards Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) through Department of Regulatory Agencies (DORA) in the State of Colorado• Refers clients to DPS staff to complete Suicide Risk Assessment and Homicide Risk Assessment • Collaborates within a multidisciplinary team, including the following: School Administration, School Social Worker, School Psychologist, High School Resource Officers with Denver Police Department, Denver Health School-Based Clinic Staff (e.g., School Nurse, Nurse Technician, Health Educator, and Nurse Practitioner), and Mental Health Center of Denver Staff (e.g., Clinical Case Managers, Therapists, Psychiatrists, Psychiatric Nurse, Supervisors, Administration, and Translators)• Received 39.5/96 hours of individual supervision toward LCSW through DORA in the State of Colorado
