In 2022 I finally found my calling as a Registered Behavior Technician. After my son was diagnosed with Autism, I made it my mission to find more ways to help him. I was working at a meaningless job and decided I needed a change. A wonderful clinic took a chance on me and trained me to become an RBT. Within three weeks, I was registered to go back to college to finish my education. I expect to graduate from the BCaBA program at Capella University in Mayy of 2026 with a Bachelor of Psychology specializing in autism spectrum disorder. I plan to continue to my master's degree and become a BCBA so that I can help more children in this undersaturated field. The world needs more people that truly care, and change happens one person at a time.
