Key Accountabilities:• Support with the development of road-maps which deliver the IT solutions to support the business • Support with input into the 3/1 year planning process• Provide clear estimates of the business analysis effort & deliverables required for projects • Agree the high level project brief including scope with all stakeholders before the project starts• Provide IT input to the business case benefits identification & management, including ensuring that benefit owners are identified & all high level requirements/epics have an associated & justifiable value & cost captured• Work with business & IT stakeholders to define & capture the backlog of high level requirements/epics, including functional & non-functional requirements for the project• Ensure that all high level requirements/epics have an associated & justifiable business value associated & a cost to deliver • Facilitate & capture the priority of the backlog/high level requirements/epics & challenge these to ensure they are justifiable • Identify & agree which requirements form the minimum viable feature set that delivers the majority of the business case & those that are optional or deliver only a small incremental value compared with the cost to deliver • Elicit detailed requirements/user stories using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops & analytical techniques to validate requirements from project stakeholders & capture detailed requirements/user stories as appropriate• Ensure requirements are sufficient for Design & Development teams & work with them through the design, development & testing to clarify requirements • Review prototypes &/or participate in demos/show & tells of the developed user stories to confirm fit with requirements at an early stage• Support testing with the evaluation of defects & prioritisation of these• Understand & work successfully with both the Boots agile and waterfall project life-cycle governance frameworks

In order to align the performance reporting of the retail & online channels to enable, consolidated & single channel performance reporting at all levels of the product hierarchy from April 1st 2013 with the inclusion of multi-channel performance in all daily, weekly & monthly reporting, a number of activities were required. My current role has been to manage the article master data:Assess the requirements for a full end state solution for the full tactical integration of data systems versus an interim solution design that can be achieved in the timescales & within the budget available. Understand the Boots.com IT landscape & current processes for the creation & maintenance of Boots.com article master data. Solution how to move the existing Boots.com extended inventory (circa 8k articles) into SAP MDM. Solution how to map the current shared inventory, that was reporting against dummy codes (circa 5k articles) & implement workable business as usual processes for the ongoing creation & maintenance of extended inventory. Ensuring all articles have a 7 digit item code going forward for consolidated reporting via BW. Work with key stakeholders to agree my proposed processes changes & create the necessary information to communicate & manage those changes with all relevant business users. Create Best Practice documentation to cover all standard operating procedures following the implementation of the changes for a smooth hand over to business as usual & provide user support & hand holding post go live.

• Deliver exceptional standards in project shaping, resulting in solutions that could be delivered right first time. • Input to the design & delivery to achieve completion & sign off of the blueprint for retail article & goods not for resale within the master data area, with detailed process & solution design on time. • Manage change controls well & professionally. • Provide information accurately & on-time to inform business change plans. • Ensure blueprint work was robust for decisions to be easily achieved for their respective workshops. • Ensure acceptable levels of quality at all times for a workable solution that met the scope & deliverables of Core. • Work with other programme roles to design, develop and deliver agreed process improvements. • Ensure that the design reflected continuous improvement in the working. • Uphold Process Models & process excellence capability & play an active role in developing any further requirements identified. • Ensure effective input to the development & delivery of the master data workstream goals and objectives. • Clear articulated plans delivered to change management teams. • All work delivered within programme guidelines and governance. • Help to create great training materials & courses that give users the skills they need. • Actively participate in preparing courses, identifying users, training trainers & attending first delivery. • Providing visible, active support for Super Users & end users in the run up to, at & following cut-over.

• To initiate any system enhancement or development work resulting from changes to Business Process, legislative changes or changes to ethical guidelines. This is also included projects to cleanse existing data within the SAP R3 system to improve compliance or adapt to new rules & ways of working within the Business.• Initiating enhancement & development work projects within the SAP R3 system to Article and Pricing transactions. • Document the necessary Business Requirements, following communication with stakeholders. • Create a good business value case, to progress the project through to the allocation of funding and design. • Build good working relationships with Boots Team IS Portfolio Managers, Business Systems Consultants, Business Systems Analysts and Project Managers. • Build a good working relationship with Team IS partners in IBM, Steria and Infosys both on and off shore. • Biggest key projects were working on the design & implementation of SAP ACT stage 2 & implementing Goods & Services Tax in Jersey.

• To employ excellent business support processes for monitoring & controlling the data systems that were critical in protecting our corporate reputation as first class High Street retailer, & maximising economic profit opportunities. • To provide a consultancy service, advising on all project work that either effected or was impacted by Master Data. • Manage technical support for SAP Article – e.g. Regression testing, system enhancements, user validation, ensuring that minimal disruption was felt across the business. • Manage the SAP/Legacy systems; ensuring systems were working sufficiently to manage the data requirements of the Category teams, & escalate to the Data Advocate where changes to the system or processes were required. • Manage the day to day relationships with BTC Vendors & Category / Supply teams, ensuring that standards set by the Data Advocate were maintained & issues escalated via KPI’s. • Line Manage the Data Analysts & Assistant Best Practice Manager, ensuring that technical & legislative knowledge was dispersed across the team as appropriate, & that standards of validation were upheld. • Implement a diary of events across BTC, liasing with Category teams to understand key deadlines for rebuilds & new project launches, providing guidance & helping the category teams to mange the data gathering process. • Provide constructive push back to teams regarding timings & uphold data standards, supporting the Data Analysts in their daily interaction with the trading teams.

Run a number of daily reports to monitor article creation & process compliance. • Biggest key projects were working on the design & implementation of SAP ACT stage 1 & De coupling generic & variant articles.

• To complete functional & user acceptance testing of the article creation & maintenance transactions within the new SAP R3 system. • Closely support the trading community during the implementation, ensuring a smooth transition from Legacy to SAP. Promptly investigate issues & errors & work towards a successful resolution. • Monitor functional specification documentation & modify where necessary. Documenting & archiving test material using the QAD & Track Record systems. • Create a portfolio of regression test material to be used in BAU system upgrade scenarios.

My key responsibilities were to complete functional tests on the new developments at the design company, System Solutions in Dublin. Write test scripts to cover all dispensing & pharmacy business processes. Complete user acceptability testing on new software & assist with the development of training material.

My key responsibilities were to manage all members of the Pharmacy Team. Develop the Pharmacy business, & increase take up of the free repeat prescription collection service. Maintain good communication within the team & between other members of store staff. Assist the team to plan & manage their time effectively. Set & review performance contracts & staff development/training plans.
