As a Criminology major at SUNY Old Westbury, I am eager to explore the theories, methods, and policies related to crime and justice, and to apply them to real-world situations and problems. I have a strong academic record, having completed multiple courses and projects on topics such as Theories of Crime, Jurisprudence, and Sociological Theory. I am also a member of the Collegiate Science Technology Entry Program and the Pre-Law Society, where I network with peers, faculty, and professionals in the field. My goal is to become a lawyer in the future, and I am pursuing a Pre-Law minor to prepare for law school. To gain practical experience in certain aspects of the legal field, I have worked in a vehicle and traffic moving violations law firm. I also have first hand experience on taxation and immigration administrative paperwork. I am bilingual in Spanish and English, which enables me to communicate effectively with diverse clients and stakeholders. I am also detail oriented and organized, which helps me to manage multiple cases and tasks efficiently and accurately.
