Along with my busy riding career I coach riders in the three olympic disciplines, dressage, show jumping and cross country both privately and in a club setting. I currently hold a preliminary NCAS PCAV coaching accreditation and plan to upgrade to a level 1 shortly. I have also been slowly chipping away at my EA NCAS level one coaching accreditation for the past few years and will hopefully complete that soon. I have 22 years riding experience and have competed up to 1* eventing. I pride myself on my professionalism, attention to detail and easy-goaing and approachable personality. As well as my riding experience I also have a certificate III and IV in fitness and like to incorporate that knowledge of health and fitness to my riding because riders are athletes just as much as our horses.In 2014 I became a member of the Victorian Prydes Senior Eventing Squad which really helped bring along my riding career and coaching knowledge.

Harvest casual position as a grower services officer in grain origination with AWB

My position with Meredith Dairy was my first full time job since graduating from the University of Melbourne in 2011. I learnt a variety of skills and was responsible for a large range of tasks, including feed management, ration formulation, disease control and eradication programs, improvements to herd recording protocols, research trials, spreadsheet entry and the management of staff, all of which I completed to the highest standard. I was selected to speak at a Ruminant Nutrition Seminar in Melbourne on behalf of the Meredith Dairy Group about the key principles of the nutritional management of dairy goats and sheep during my time with the organisation.

I worked casually as a Research Assistant at the University of Melbourne where I completed a variety of laboratory tasks, including assays and some preparation for PCR. I worked hands on with stock and completed numerous computer-based tasks. My work was recently acknowledged by a colleague at a conference I attended in Canberra (in September) for the International Symposium for the Nutrition of Herbivores and Ruminant Production Conference.My time with Melbourne University was an excellent introduction to the research world and my time there has proved to be extremely valuable to my animal science career.

During my tertiary studies, and for a short time after, I worked as a Duty Manager at the Kilmore Leisure Centre (a Mitchell Shire Council facility). This incorporated leading and working with, or as a backup to, front-line customer service workers, lifeguards and administration staff. It was in these roles I learned to be a leader and work as part of a team, whilst honing my customer service and cash handling skills. Whilst working in the leisure industry I gained skills in sales through selling gym and swim memberships as well as a range of different merchandise. It was due to my excellence in customer service that I was offered a position as part of the Customer Service Team with the Mitchell Shire Council Chambers. In this role, I was the first contact for all enquiries for all Council enquiries. It was here that I furthered my interpersonal and communication skills, which have been invaluable to me both in my professional career and day-to-day life, as I demonstrate empathy to customers and staff alike. I also hold my certificate III and IV in fitness and began my fitness career which started with running 'boot camp' style training sessions at the centre.
