I have worked in retail management, office management and finance pretty much all of my adult life. Being a people person, I feel that one of my strong points is connecting with not only my customers but also with my co-workers, whether they are my employees or my employers. For many years, I worked very long hours and even though I loved what I did, I was missing out on my family and my life. I decided to get out of the retail industry and went to work for a local businessman who is a CPA and also has several other businesses, including a temporary staffing company in five different states. I take care of all the accounting for all of his companies and I also do accounting and bookkeeping services for about eight different clients. Taking this position has been such a Godsend for me and has allowed me so much flexibility and freedom that I had never ever had before. Both of my employers are wonderful and have been so good to me. God has blessed me with a wonderful family, a fabulous job and the skills and mindset to have an abundant and prosperous life no matter what my current position may be.
