Reporting to the CEO, my role is to conceptualise and deliver cost-effective marketing strategies and sales channels for the company within Australia.Responsible for brand direction and development, placement of digital advertising, social media, communication and sales. I am also heavily involved in product strategy, including the selection of new products and planning their roll-out across the business.

Co-designing 8 collections a year with the Creative Director. Responsible for design and development, sample fittings, technical drawings, conversing daily with manufacturers to ensure quality footwear, brand identity, designing packaging, and producing look books (from sourcing photoshoot locations, models and photographers to editing photos and graphic design).

Hong Kong based manufacturer producing footwear for large American retailers such as: Walmart, Sears, Kmart, Target, JCPenny and Michael Kors. Responsibilities include: Leading a team of designers to produce casual shoes for men, women and kids, trend and color forecasting, trend reports, market research, sourcing and selecting materials, creating custom prints, tech packs, preparing and presenting presentations to clients and traveling to America and to China to meet with clients and oversee production.

Amsterdam based nautical sportswear brand that focuses on integrating high end technical materials into modern fashionable apparel. Responsible for the design and development of sportswear apparel and footwear from conception through to production. Including: trend forecasting, concept generation, illustration, sample fittings, production management, color consulting, technical drawings, and travel to manufacturers.

Involved in design and presentation of footwear for Gaastra, Livingstone, Hub footwear, and Hester Vlamings’ own label. Additionally, completed several freelance jobs independently.

Founded a small minimalist knitwear label targeted toward European and American markets. Designed entire collection, conducted market research, developed the brands identity, found retailers, sourced materials in China and arranged sampling and production in Latvia.

San Francisco based streetwear clothing label. Experience with: pattern making, technical flats, material sourcing, and sample garment inspection.
