• Construction Manager for multiple projects at Port San Antonio with total dollar amount in excess of $1M • Review project proposals and plans to determine time frame, funding limitations, procedures for accomplishing projects, staffing requirements and allotment of available resources to various phases of projects• Coordinate the development of specifications for the work to be performed• Ensure projects progress on schedule and within prescribed budget• Work directly with tenants/customers; act as liaison between Port and subcontractors• Evaluate contract performance on assigned contracts to determine need for amendments of contracts, compliance to contractual obligations, and execute change orders accordingly • Serve as liaison to discuss contract claims or complaints occurring in performance of contracts• Analyze financial reports and other data to determine reasonableness of prices and to insure contract terms and conditions are being met. • Prepare project reports for management, client or others • Successfully create and implement SOP’s for department as a requirement of ISO 9001:2008
