About Stephanie Fernandes Scortecci

Dedicated, striving and always chasing after new knowledge, with this profile I managed in just 1 year and a half to be the leadership of an international product, working in various stages that compose the product development (from the project to the manufacturing quality).During all these years of experience, I have faced several challenges, some of this seemed bigger than what I could face and I ended up overcoming with a lot of effort, dedication and humbleness to listen to and to look for more experienced people. The patent development was challenging and at the beginning completely unknown to me. After a few months working with the team responsible for patents we elaborated a document praised by all. The implementation of a quality process in the electronics production was another great challenge, successfully overcame. At the beginning of the project I had almost no knowledge about electronics manufacture process and at the end we were able to implement quality process with a high success rate for a low current consumption product.Developing product and coordinating tasks is always a challenge – taking field trips, following up the manufacture process (in another state), meetings with all the teams, coordinating people. The job can be stressful, and to keep the balance at work it is important a personal balance: Sports (such as boxing and swimming), hanging out with family and friends, travelling with family, playing with the dog when I arrive from work, watching a film or tv shows are activities that help me to keep the balance and have a more efficient work rhythm.

O projeto cresceu e em 2013, em conjunto com o CAM - Centro Acadêmico Mecânica e Mecatrônica - Poli USP foi criado a SEMOV (http://cam.poli.usp.br/semov/)*Café filosófico: Dentro desse projeto reuníamos algumas pessoas, membros e não membros, para discutir o valor e o papel do engenheiro na sociedade. *EAEM - Escola Avançada de Engenharia Mecatrônica: Durante uma semana alunos do ensino médio viviam dentro do campus da USP. Os alunos selecionados para participar do programa ficam alujados no CEPE-USP e tem aulas com os professores do curso de engenharia da Escola Politécnica da USP. Os membros dos PET são os responsáveis por toda a organização do evento.
