Currently working across both the outreach and children and young people’s trauma service. Providing outreach support and trauma screening while managing a case load and running projects.

The Grenfell Trauma Service is a recently established service set up to provide treatment for victims of the Grenfell Tower fire who are suffering from psychological trauma or other psychological difficulties e.g., bereavement, as a result of direct or indirect exposure to the fire. As an outreach worker I support community members with a variety of physical and emotional difficulties, I manage my own case load and diary and offer short term assesment and support for mild to moderate mental health and social difficulties. The service works on a screen and treat programme so my work over the last 14months has entailed a huge amount of initial assessments and trauma screen questionnaires. I have received training in dealing with trauma and mental health emergency response.

North Kensington & Chelsea Home Treatment Rapid Response Team helps avoid admission to a mental health inpatient ward by providing intensive support to people in acute mental crisis in their homes. The team includes a rapid response service (to respond to emergency and urgent referrals) 24-hours a day.
