• Provide direct therapy to individuals, small groups, large groups using a combination of pull out and push in services• Collaborate with principals, teachers, parents and other school professionals as part of the IEP team to ensure optimal student success• Create lesson plans that engage students and elicit maximum participation • Track student progress by taking detailed treatment notes during each therapy session and assist supervisor with goal and report writing• Specialize in providing therapy to students who are Deaf/Hard of Hearing, Autism Spectrum Disorders, and students requiring Alternative Augmentative Communication• Achieve top results in a variety of school districts with a range of administrative styles and requirements, teacher methodologies, and diverse demographics• Provide therapy to students from early intervention to young adult (approx.. 1-22 years of age) • Direct collaboration with three Speech-Language therapists acting in a supervisory role since date of hire each with 25+ years of experience in a variety of specialties including Apraxia of Speech, Autism Spectrum Disorders, Deaf/HH, and Augmentative Alternative Communication• Assist district Audiologist with audiological assessments both in and out of the sound booth.• Responsible for fitting personal FM systems to students district-wide, setting up sound-field FM to DHH classrooms district-wide, and trouble-shooting all types of FM systems district-wide.• In-service teachers and school staff on how to correctly use FM systems.
