One day, I found myself in the back seat of a car with two ten years old, trying to pass time by playing a bunch of odd games. At one point, we grew tired of knock-knock jokes and decided to play a game of “I spy” instead. The boy started and said, “I spy the color grey”. Consequently, the girl and I started to call out all the grey things in the car – ranging from the steering wheel to the carpet. And as we blurted all the different components of the car it struck me how there is so many aspects of the car that I did not see before. This incident made me realized that it is incredibly easy to ignore and overlook things when we are in a state of comfort, where the seats are comfortable and the air conditioner is working.I realized that this too is the case in my existence thus far, I have been much too privileged and ignorant. The problems of education, poverty, and corruption have loomed over the world for years. Yet I have always managed to push these problems away to the back of my head. That is why this incident had made me realized my dream is to be aware of the world that is around me and to do what I can to be the change that I want to see in the world.Always happy to chat about education, technology or social impact. CeoMyedusolve Feb 2019 - PresentGreater Jakarta Area, IndonesiaMy brother and I founded MyEduSolve because we believe that Indonesian youths deserve a better education that serves as the foundation of their future. The saying goes, "Give someone a fish, and you'd feed them for a day. Teach them how to fish, and you'd feed them for a lifetime." In this ever-changing world, the equivalent of teaching someone how to fish is teaching them fundamental digital literacy skills, and that's what we are doing through MyEduSolve! -
Marketing AnalystThe Edge Group Sep 2017 - Feb 2018Greater New York City AreaI've always heard about the value of experimentation, but my experience in The Edge Group was the first time that I've truly seen the tremendous impact and growth that is only possible by virtue of prototyping and iterating.Working closely with Ranjan taught me many things that helped me in my entrepreneurial journey, from building culture, prioritizing the product roadmap, to running a remote team.

Digital Marketing InternCharity: Water Sep 2017 - Jan 2018Greater New York City AreaI remembered being in high school and being completely awed by charity: water. I remembered the yellow jerry cans, the donating your birthday movement, and the importance of providing clean drinking water. Hence, my internship in c:w absolutely feels like a dream. However brief, the experience left a profound impact on me until this day. One thing that Scott said, in particular, flipped my mind on the purpose of entrepreneurship: our job is to run ourselves out of business by solving the problem completely and thoroughly. It is then, that we would know that we have succeeded. -
Co-FounderProject Push Pin Nov 2015 - May 2017Greater Boston AreaProject Push Pin is a student-led initiative founded on the shared belief that Indonesia is still unknown to most of the world. Yet, it is a beautifully diverse archipelago of 17,508 islands filled with many cultural heritage, ready to be explored. Born and raised in Indonesia, we wished to be the agents of change for our country. One of our proposed solution is to build an all-in-one portal where a person can find anything they want to know about Indonesia. We aim to create a network of contributors to collaborate on projects and share their insights about the country.
