My graduate work focused on user experience and interaction with materials and environment. This included research in color theory and evaluation of material application in interior design. By using this opportunity to study how color and material can be applied in an interior setting, along with comprehensive space planning, I was able to focus on how best to meet a client’s needs. My work culminated in a thesis project exploring the design and creation of 3D wall surface design. I plan to continue in all my work to explore and utilize the integration of art and design, how the two disciplines inform each other, and how they can create optimum interior experiences.

Assist professors with organizational information regarding attendance and testing. Aid students in discovering creative ways to solve design problems. Help students understand the broad application of materials and systems to interior design projects.

Facilitate display coordinator in realizing display design. Installation of window and store displays. Material experimentation for Holiday 2011 prototype displays. Coordinate as part of the Visual Merchandise team to create a cohesive in-store experience for guests.

Collaborate with students during the weekend workshop program. I accompany students at various artists' workspaces and galleries, in order to promote learning and experience with new mediums and disciplines. Photo and video documentation. Contribute and keep current the art and education resource portfolio center.
