- Assisting veterinarians with procedures and surgeries - Ordering, receiving and unpacking of deliveries- Answering the phone and giving advice to clients regarding enquires about their pet’s health, making appointments for consultations and surgeries- Training and overseeing of new paid staff, volunteers and work experience- Conducting nurse consultations with clients e.g. admitting / discharging patients for surgery, advice regarding diet/flea/worm control, nail clipping- Cleaning of cages, litter trays, food bowls, surgical items and laundry- Feeding and medicating cats, dogs, rabbits, guinea pigs, ferrets- Observing and recording notes about the patient on hospital sheet- Sweeping and mopping of wards- Walking dogs
