About Stephanie (Garrison) Southwick

As CEO and Founder of Property Matters, I empower women and people of color (POC) through real estate. My company helps women and POC be all that they are meant to be by removing barriers and coaching them to financial freedom.I love working with young people in their 20s and 30s who are ready to get serious about their future. Additionally, I enjoy helping individuals in transitional states such as divorcees, widows, and empty nesters who have specific real estate obstacles to overcome and need customized solutions to manage their property. Some of my most interesting clients are women entrepreneurs needing creative strategies for "brick and mortar" locations.Property Matters was birthed out of Home Matters - a successful organization I co-founded which encourages women to create peaceful and loving homes. After raising my two daughters, I saw the need of educating women on the value of using real estate as a low risk, wealth-building investment tool. As a result, I launched Property Matters to coach women in becoming real estate entrepreneurs using semi-passive and passive income, generating freedom for women with the least amount of risk over time.I help women and POC:-Eliminate debt-Build credit-Understand mortgages-Connect with mortgage brokers-Find the perfect realtor-Invest in real estate-Purchase one’s first home-Build wealth through rental properties-Update existing propertiesIn my free time, I like to watch Netflix, knit, and throw the ball with my granddog, a Belgian Malinois named “Rumble”.
