Managed and assisted in the operation of an old-fashioned ice-cream, soda, and sandwich shop. Literally a “Mom and Pop” business, I was brought in to assist the two owners as their only other full-time employee. The three of us, along with an occasional dish helper, served hundreds of customers daily at this quaint establishment known for its kitschy atmosphere and reliable service.

As creator, designer and sole proprietor of this hip, combination café and vintage clothing store, I held full responsibility for every aspect of this business such as creating the menu, prepping and serving all food and beverages, stocking vintage treasures, monitoring sales, promoting the business through ads, events, social media and the business website and maintaining a clean, healthy atmosphere where customers sipped espresso, grabbed a bite to eat, sorted through vinyl records and travelled back in time.
