Owner Of "Impromptu""Impromptu" (In Home Consignment Company I Created) May 1985 - Aug 1987Auburn, AlMy partner and I Beth Reische both had art degrees. She was a textile designer and I was a graphic designer and painter. We collaborated and brought in over 20 artists work to sell on consignment. In the meantime we created clothing designs, Beth designed them and I batiked, painted, tie dyed etc. the fabric. By word of mouth, the college students started pouring in. It was a fun two years. I then went to graduate school and a friend took my concept and created "Behind the Glass" which is still open currently. During college I sold in three different clothing stores as well. One was on consignment I was the top sales person that year in the store. I like to engage people and get to know them.
