Currently managing 4-8 clinics staffing over 20 providers and approximately 70 supporting staff members.

Coordinate Anesthesia needs for the entire hospital. This includes: OR, OB, Endoscopy, Cardiac Cath Lab, MRI, CT and any other area that would require anesthesia. Responsible for the daily staffing of 16 CRNA’s and 5 MDA’s as well as call schedules. Responsible for daily assignments of MDA’s and CRNA’s to ensure all OR’s, Endo, Cath Lab, MRI and OB have the appropriate coverage related to clinical competency and surgeon preference. Responsible for assigning and reworking schedule with quick changes and emergencies. (Emergency intubation, emergency OR cases, Labor and Delivery emergencies. These are often split second decisions that directly affect patient care and safety. Responsible for the monthly schedule of 30 CRNA’s and 8 MDA’s as well as the call schedules. Responsible for daily communications with the OR nurses, techs and staff in the room for any needs related to anesthesia. Attend daily staffing meetings to review any safety issues from the previous day and issues that could potentially arise in the future.Attend daily scheduling meeting with OR director, OR Manager, Cath lab management, and Endo management to review and approve the schedule for the next day. This position is instrumental in improving efficiency when noted changes are identified.Assist with the orientation of new anesthesiologist and CRNA’s.

Coordinate scheduling with operating room staff, Medical Equipment Representatives and Physicians. Input surgery-specific details into system to ensure all equipment and supplies that are needed can and will be available at the time of surgery. Administrative support to physicians and operating room staff.
