Instructional Technology Coach
As a member of the IT team at our school, my main goal is to support and partner with teachers as they implement educational technology in their classrooms. I want teachers at our school to feel equipped, confident, and encouraged in their ability to integrate technology into their classrooms to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes. Other responsibilities in this role include: technology onboarding for new employees/teachers, one-on-one technology coaching sessions, develop virtual trainings with Camtasia, create and lead professional development sessions on various educational technology platforms and topics, and researching/vetting/managing educational platforms used at our school. I am also a member of an AI Committee working to generate standards and guidelines for AI use at our school.
