I Took a ground placement withIn Virgin with a tech control team due to being pregnant at the time and unable to fly. This was a great opportunity to see the company from a different side and what goes on behind the scenes. I worked alongside engineering of tech control teams, inputting data to various computer systems.

During Virgin‘s restructure I took a year part-time contract and worked a few days a week and local beauty salon alongside fine. Performing a range of beauty treatments for our regular customers, we would also offer handmade products. I was often left to run the shop on my own, taking bookings, payments and performing treatments.

This role saw me working an upper-class, offering various beauty treatments during the flight to our upper class customers. Sadly this role was removed due to the economic recession at the time and company restructuring.

Having worked in the newly opened members only spa as a valet during my time at college, this became my first job in the beauty industry, with fantastic in-house training and a lot of VIP customers.
