I started my employment with the DNA Diagnostic Center, the largest relationship testing lab in the country, as a sales consultant. I worked in a call center environment, speaking directly to clients and determining proper tests for their needs. After my first year with the company, I was promoted to a team leader in the laboratory. In this position, I managed the log-in division, which handles all setup and preparation of samples for testing. This position required me to excel both at multi-tasking and to become highly detail-oriented, as each sample came to me for a final evaluation prior to testing. Along with preparing samples, I also managed a dozen team members and led hiring, training, and performance management over this team.

As an executive for Target, I was the lead manager over two store work centers, including store-wide customer service and the soft lines sales floor. In addition to executive duties, fifty percent of my time was served as the Leader on Duty in the building, taking complete managerial control of the entire store and processes. In my time at Target, I was also promoted from Executive Soft lines to Executive Soft lines/Guest Experience, which combined two executive positions into one.
