About Stephanie Vetrano
As a former softball player and student from FSU, I understand the positive impact sports can have on individuals, teams, and communities of people. Sports bring people together to unite over common interests and help develop friendships, relationships, and family bonds. I am passionate about this industry as I want to be a part of something that changes others' lives. Along with the impact sport has on people, I work in sports to engage with the community and use resources to help those in need. Through previous jobs, internships, and organizations on campus, I have gained a passion for events, facilities, and operations in sport. I am a problem solver, innovator, leader and have specific experience in event planning, operations, emergency management, ticketing, sponsorship, and guest relations. I also love the sports industry for the fast-paced, changing environments. Having a career that allows me to constantly innovate, problem solve, and adjust to the needs of fans, players and the business is where I thrive. Teammates and colleagues know me as a hard worker who is willing to go above and beyond while putting my team and our goals above personal needs. I am always learning and eager to grow, but am also confident in my abilities and decision-making. I am excited to currently work within a sports organization that values the community, its consumers, and its staff. Being a part of the USTA since December 2021 has exposed me to a professional sports organization whose goals perfectly align with mine. I have been able to work with multiple departments and teams and initiate new programs and events within community tennis to constantly promote and develop the growth of tennis.
