With over 15 years of teaching experience in the field of information technology and cybersecurity, I am a passionate and dedicated professor at Rock Valley College, where I teach various Cisco Networking, Linux, Windows Server, and Security courses. I am also a doctoral candidate at Capella University, pursuing an Information Assurance and Cybersecurity degree. My mission is to empower my students with the knowledge and skills they need to succeed in the ever-changing and dynamic IT industry and to inspire them to pursue lifelong learning and professional development. I value diversity, innovation, collaboration, and excellence and strive to create a supportive and engaging learning environment for my students and colleagues.In addition to my current role as a professor at Rock Valley College, I am an instructor at District100 teaching dual credit courses such as Network+ and Linux. I have also been a Cisco Instructor at Rockford Public Schools and the Kishwaukee Education Consortium (KEC), where I taught high school students the fundamentals of Cisco Networking and prepared them for the CCNA certification exam. I have also been a Technology Coordinator and CIS Instructor at the Kishwaukee Education Consortium, where I managed the IT infrastructure and resources and taught various computer and technology courses to high school students. I am always eager to learn new things, explore new challenges, and share my expertise with others.
