Stephanie Weir (she/her) is a self-identified management nerd and change maker who is dedicated to building just, inclusive, value-centered, and well-managed organizations. For nearly 20 years she has supported purpose-driven organizations through organizational development, program and project management, community engagement, and asset-based organizing work. The principles of asset-based community organizing laid the foundation for Stephanie’s approach. Active listening, inclusive decision-making, examining issues through the lens of power and race, and centering those most harmed by systemic injustice in the development of solutions are just some of the tenets that guide her day-to-day. She is a skilled facilitator and has managed nonprofit boards, advisory teams, partner groups, and large coalitions. She is adept at supporting people to explore differences related to identity, experiences, and interests so that they can effectively collaborate to make change.After working for a number of struggling organizations, Stephanie was inspired to learn more about the nonprofit sector's unique role in the fabric of society and now holds a Master of Nonprofit Management from Hamline University’s School of Business. She has combined her formal education and extensive on-the-ground experience to transform organizations. Leading organizational change, DEI integration, and strategic planning, Stephanie has built intentional systems, structures, and processes to create healthy internal cultures and support effective mission delivery. Far too often team members embark on a planning process with eagerness and excitement only to get to the end feeling tired, disillusioned, and just plain over it. It doesn’t have to be this way! Stephanie builds change management plans that are inclusive, motivating, easily managed, and adaptable all while meeting the unique needs of each person involved.
