My role within EM Pipeline Solutions as Office Manager involved many tasks to ease the pressure within the Management Teams working week. I kept track of our working teams who were all based around the Glasgow and Coatbridge area, working on gas mains and ensure that required equipment is available when required for them to do their job is a safe and efficiant manner.. Along with timesheet data entry, payroll and record keeping I dealt with any customer complaints and enquiries and also any calls that come in from outside contractors and company’s we deal with for hiring or buying equipment. It also involved data logging of many procedures to enable invoices to be raised and claimed. I was involved in the briefing out of health and safety orientated material by preparing any documents that are needed for Managers to ensure Teams are up to date with all SHE Briefings, Safety and Engineering Bulletins and Safety and Engineering Instructions and Health and Safety campaigns.
