With a background rooted in the NHS and armed with a Midwifery BSc, my journey as a Bereavement Consultant specialising in babies and children has been shaped by a commitment to providing compassionate and dedicated support to families during the death of their baby or child. My clinical experience has fostered a deep understanding of the intricacies of grief and loss, allowing me to offer empathetic guidance to individuals navigating the complexities of bereavement.Within my role, I collaborate closely with hospitals, hospices, and funeral providers, fostering a network of support that extends beyond conventional boundaries. By forging meaningful partnerships within these institutions, I aim to create a seamless and comprehensive support system for families enduring the unimaginable loss of a baby or child. With a firm commitment to ongoing professional development, I remain dedicated to staying at the forefront of ways to care for and support bereaved families whilst developing my own techniques and advice through experience and feedback from those I have worked with.
