I work with children between the ages of 5 months and 5 years. I worked full-time for the first 4 years and am now working part-time, 3 days a week. I am currently based in the Discoverers room, working with babies up to the age of 2 years old. I worked mainly with children in the pre-school room for the first 3 years of employment. I am required to plan for my key children, thinking about their next steps and how best to support them in their development. It is important to me that every child in my care feels safe and secure in their environment. I have good knowledge in health and safety practices, as well as safeguarding procedures and have had extensive training on this. I love creating resources for the children to play with, I have made a Buddha doll, Rama and Sita dolls and a school small world.
