I have now completed my first step in my journey to become an interior designer and I would love to become part of a team that supports and challenges one another, as well as provide training to graduates. I'm currently work part time due to my studies and look forward to the opportunity to re-enter the workforce full time.I'm solution driven and take a very hands on approach to get there which is why I decided to start my studies in Interior Design. I have very strong beliefs that to design for someone you need to know how the space will be used and to be highly functional with flattering aesthetics. Renovating my homes has been a passion of mine as I get to reap in the rewards and learn some hands on skills.To be able to work in an industry that has the power to create change to the way people live and work would be a true honor. Having worked in places that weren't designed for people I understand what it means to listen and learn from others to improve and create productive places of work.I'm especially interested in building on what I have learnt at QUT, as well as exploring furniture design as we all sometimes need that bespoke piece in our life to bring a space together and to bring a spark of joy.
