As a research analyst, I was part of a small team tasked with learning and applying modern research and structured analytical techniques in order to identify emerging threats to national security and help frame the narrative through timely online publications on the CASIS website.

As a Disability Claim Specialist, I endeavored to create a positive customer experience for clients during the most challenging times of their lives. I conducted extensive functional interviews with each client to determine their functional limitations with regards to their daily activities and work capacity. Through careful consideration of their reported functioning and review of complex medical documentation, I was able to make critical decisions regarding claim approval/denial.

During my time as an Administrative Assistant, I was able to efficiently handle all incoming mail, faxes and email communication, while simultaneously providing exceptional customer service to those calling in with questions about their claims. I was able to initiate new disability claims and assign them to the appropriate claim specialists within tight timeframes to minimize any delays with claim processing.

During my undergrad at UBC, I supplemented my studies by working under psychologist, Dr. Anne Dietrich, in her private practice. This work allowed me to gain valuable experience scoring psychometric tests, such as the Personality Assessment Inventory (PAI) and the Minnesota Multiphasic Personality Inventory (MMPI), as well as developing interpersonal experience by greeting clients.
