As a Professor of Psychology at Georgia Gwinnett College, I have over 20 years of experience in higher education, teaching and mentoring undergraduate students from diverse backgrounds and interests. I co-direct the RISEUP (research in social equity with undergraduates in psychology) lab, where I supervise and collaborate with students on various topics, such as gender pay gap and sexual assault.My mission is to use my education and experience in the service of others, especially women and girls, who face multiple challenges and inequalities in society. I am passionate about reproductive rights and have designed and implemented programs and curricula that address this issue from a psychological perspective. I also strive to learn something new every day and to create positive change in my field and community.
