As Recruitment Leader for Kingston Health Sciences Centre, I am responsible to facilitate the internal and external recruitment process at KHSC with our team. I provide expertise and guidance for our team in the utilization of online recruiting tools and resources. In addition to the use of the recruiting technology I provide consultation and guidance to our internal client group in the area of workforce planning and forecasting to ensure the hospital is recruiting the right number of staff at the right time. Our focus is to find the talent with the right skills to serve the needs of the client agenda and guide (Managers and Directors) in their hiring decisions, always with a goal of providing the best patient and family centered care.We assist managers in forecasting and identifying their future recruitment needs and work with the internal client groups to analyze and share metrics for use in decision making as well as developing reports for use by other departments and leaders. As the Recruitment Leader I work with internal departments including information technology and public affairs, to ensure access and collaboration with the recruiting function to use the most advanced sourcing methodologies available including an applicant tracking system, social media tools, resources and internet recruiting strategies.
