Worked as an environmental field technician on the Former Coal Tar Processing Facility site on the Island End River in Chelsea/Everett, MA. Provided daily operation and maintenance on an oil boom collection and containment rememdiation system for a coal tar issue. Collected daily weather observations including tidal, air and water temp, wind speed and direction and current weather conditions amung other observations. Collected GPS coordinates for coal tar "hot spots" on the river, and operated a daily cleanup system on the river and monitored coal tar impacts along the shoreline and Admirals Hill Marina. Performed boat cleanup of docked boats as deemed necessary.

Performed laboratory analytical tests on surface water samples from NH lakes. Maintained Microsoft Access based database of laboratory samples and results, updated GIS maps of sampling locations and generated charts and graphs for grant proposals.
