Architected, led, and implemented a 5-month cross-team effort to change the customer identification method of a full-stack core platform which sees over 170M requests daily. Mitigated a service outage in production over a company holiday. Led an org-wide RCA which actions resulted in the service never failing at that scale again. Revitalized how the team reviews technical debt. Developed a new strategy for tackling over 200 existing technical debt tickets, and led biweekly meetings to prioritize new bugs and reduce toil. Identified over 200K rows of data using Mode Analytics to backfill a new service. Collaborated with 1 team to handoff 2 major services, each which receives 20M, 170M requests daily. Architected, led, and implemented a full-stack cross-team effort to suppress a modal from displaying to Buyers based on their tour status due to a desire from Agents. Managed 3 summer interns over 2 years. Created technical documents related to their projects, mentored them, and conducted performance evaluations.

Student researcher in Georgia Tech SPUD lab. Creating a smart social agent which will allow access to closed office spaces using facial recognition. If the system recognizes you and you are entering within a reasonable hour, it will let you in. If it doesn't recognize you, it will send a notification to the admin of the space while engaging you in conversation. I am working on the hardware portion of the system, specifically the various components which interface to the Raspberry Pi (i.e. proximity sensor, camera, microphone, speaker, door bolt, etc.).Interviewed makerspace admins and conducted a user survey in order to co-author a paper which was accepted with minor revisions: bit.ly/stephaniea_research_paper

Help teach a class of over 250 students about datapaths, processors, virtual memory, C programming, assembly programming, networking, and linux file systems. Teach a 50 student recitation weekly and hold weekly office hours.

Responsible for maintaining over 150 Github repositories (https://github.com/HackGT) as well as overseeing over 8 active projects including various website deployment tools, in house dashboards, deployment systems, NFC projects, and more. Oversees a team of over 15 tech members. Responsible for the technology projects and for putting on 4+ events throughout the year including HackGT (our 1,000 person event in the fall), Horizons (our arts+tech event in the Spring), and Catalyst (our high school learnathon).

Was a mentor for the hardware track at Catalyst, a competition which teaches high school students about technology. Volunteered for HackGT and BuildGT, two hackthons hosted by the HackGT organization. Helped to plan various hackathons and events held by the HackGT organization and worked to build various technologies such as a Slack plugin which sends mass notifications to groups using Typescript

Worked as part of a balanced team to develop a service which would connect service providers with customers which required on-demand services such as plumbing, electric, and landscaping issues. Used React Native to build two apps. Employed the usage of real-time geolocation tracking, push notifications, and the Firebase real time database.
