I have enjoyed over eighteen years of working in the non-profit, social services field. During my career I've acted as a strengths-based leader and supervisor, encouraging others to nurture their strengths as a path in reaching their full potential and achieving their career objectives. I love mentoring others and supporting marginalized populations, serving as an advocate and acting as an instrument for change. I believe in using a solution-focused approach to problem solving with an emphasis on creating synergistic plans of action. I earned a Bachelor's of Science degree in Organizational Management from the University of La Verne. My studies provided me with the skills to create and lead teams and take on management positions in any industry. I explored the human side of managing organizations, including communications, group behavior, decision-making, human resource management, ethics and financial management.Some of my passions include the promotion of building mental health awareness and suicide pre- and post-vention. I am a certified bereavement facilitator and have supported others experiencing grief through suicide loss and and other grief related situations. I enjoy networking, community collaboration, outreach, coaching, and the promotion of social responsibility.I am seeking a position that will support my desire to lead and manage others, one in which I can utilize my education and career experiences. I'm looking forward to my new career journey and the opportunities that await!
