I managed the $85K Read-Aloud program run at 13 shelters and affordable housing sites, reaching over 500 children in the DC area a year. Through this program I trained, coordinated and supported between 200 and 250 volunteers and created Read-Aloud original and dynamic curriculum for their use. I conducted 15 Spanish and Spanish-English bilingual Reading.

I substitute taught in a variety of classrooms from January to April 2010. From April to June, I was the long-term substitute in the Intellectually Disabled department at Edison High School. There, I taught math, science and keyboarding to high school students who were academically on a 2nd to 5th grade level.
