Profile bio

About Stephanie Bream

After a rewarding 15-year career in mining, I took a step back to focus on raising my three young daughters, recognising the importance of having one parent as the primary carer in our dual mining-industry household. During this time, I saw an exciting opportunity to combine my passion for the outdoors with product development, creating SunDust Sunscreen—a plant-based, bio-glitter mineral sunscreen designed to make sun protection fun for all ages.My entrepreneurial journey led me to pitch SunDust on Channel 10’s Shark Tank, securing a deal to bring our innovative product to the North American market. Today, SunDust is stocked in 65 stores across Australia, with expansion plans for the USA and Europe well underway. Before SunDust, my professional background was deeply rooted in the mining industry. With over 15 years of experience, I’ve held key leadership roles, including Geology Superintendent and Exploration Manager at BHP and South32, managing projects across Africa, Canada, Mongolia, and Australia. My expertise spans multiple commodities—copper, gold, uranium, iron ore, manganese, bauxite, and silver—and my work has always adhered to the highest industry standards, including JORC compliance and best practices.
