As we begin to explore the many varied uses for product feeds and the control we have over Google Ads campaigns decreases my role is expanding beyond simply optimising product feeds for use on shopping platforms. We are beginning to blend more data into the product feeds to assist with increasing shopping campaign performance and looking more deeply into areas that could be hindering performance - such as inventory levels within various segments of the product feed and price competitiveness. This has led to a change in scope to incorporate more of the technology & strategic layer which underlies shopping and I'm excited to continue to expand the scope of use for product data feeds as it is tied together with data from other technologies and systems.
