With 15 years' experience in non-profit management, health education, grant writing and community development, I am passionate about supporting social change through relationships and coalition building. As a bookkeeper and administrator, I love to support program development grounded in sustainable budgets and led by visionary goals. I have grown and developed two community programs through academic partnerships, institutional sponsorships and creative, asset-based collaborations. As a graduate of the Americorps Public Allies program, I am motivated to create social change through my own ancestral healing journey and challenging the status quo that has maintained the structures of white supremacy in the U.S.I am currently seeking partnerships to develop and launch workplace stress management practices for remote and in-office workers. Stress, burnout and staff turnover are threatening the health of many businesses and employers are looking for sustainable, accessible, cost-efficient ways to keep their workers engaged and productive. I am working with a team of researchers at the University of Houston to develop innovative solutions for cognitive recharging and mindful stress management.
