Partner with Director of SOX Compliance in preparing annual management testing plan for all SOX processes• Provide oversight and guidance to co-location teammates ensuring a clear understanding of target dates and deliverables• Review work papers prepared both on shore and offshore for completeness and accuracy • Maintain strong relationship with business partners ensuring process controls are followed and test results are reviewed and signed off on by corporate mandated target dates• Obtain, review, and interpret organizational policies, standards and procedures to understand control points that mitigate risks to the business process.• Perform / Review multi-platform (application, database, operating system, monitoring tools, and business processes) level audits based on predefined test objectives and test plans.• Perform / Review retest of controls that have been remediated or updated as a result of previously identified deficiencies.• Obtain, review, and interpret evidence provided to validate controls are performed effectively.• Document recommendations for test plan modifications that would improve processes, strengthen control points and/or testing procedures.• Evaluate the adequacy of process design and the effectiveness of controls in meeting business and control objectives. • Propose practical and value added recommendations to address control weaknesses and/or process inefficiencies.
