I had worked managing salons and various retail stores for over 20 years. Then some wonderful changes happened in my life and I decided that I needed to reassess my career goals. I wanted to utilize all of the experience that I have had managing small and large groups across several states, while still feeling that I was making a difference in the work place. As a productive professional, with the ability to manage a variety of personalities, I knew that with a degree I could be an incredible asset to offices that would be looking for a driven leader for their team. So, I went back to school and made the switch to a medical office. While acquiring knowledge in a new field, I have brought new perspective to working in an office setting. Leading productive trainings, I have developed teams of engaged professionals while reducing turnover. I have managed payrolls, reducing overhead while staying in budget. Making a point to be familiar with company goals and policies has allowed employers to have confidence that I can direct any team for the benefit of the individual and the company, while maintaining a fair and professional work environment.
