• Works collaboratively with the Accessibility Learning Services team to identify and implement strategies to reduce or eliminate institutional barriers ensuring students have an equal opportunity to achieve their educational goals.• Operates within a case management model to assist students with disabilities in navigating the supports and services available.• Promotes awareness of disability and self-advocacy by organizing and participating in special events• Supports the development of students’ academic strengths and challenges by implementing learning goals which include skills for studying, note-taking, communication, reading, time management, and organization• As the need arises, identify additional resources and, in consultation with the student and their Accessibility Counsellor, support referrals to other College services
