My career has traversed the intersection of politics and policy, community organizing and communications throughout the most significant period of change in how people get and understand public affairs information in more than a century. Now, I am founder and principal consultant of SDK, a firm providing community-informed research, engagement-driven planning and change-minded management to clients in state and local governments, foundations, and health care and public health. SDK is most known for facilitating engagement-driven processes and deft project management that enable new ways of tackling problems in transportation and public realm, technology, health and environment. At the core, my passion and SDK's work makes meaningful strides in pursuing equitable and outcome-based management in the public sector. I constantly strive to understand people's perspectives and what drives those perspectives, and then apply my unparalleled experience to designing strategies, processes and approaches that help people see issues in simple terms and make positive change possible.
