At All Means All, our mission is to redesign schools to be places that prioritize anti-racist and anti-ableist practices in order to achieve true equity. We build partnerships with school and system leaders to eliminate the opportunity gap for students with disabilities and other learners with intersectional identities historically marginalized in schools, even by the most equity-centered systems.

My time at Lynden High School has been filled with opportunity and growth. Creating diverse and inclusive curriculum for High School students is what fuels me as an Educator. I seek to serve all students with differentiated lessons that can reach them through any learning level, disability, background, and obstacle. As an AVID teacher, I graduated the first cohort of students from Lynden High School through our AVID program. My students moved on to attending universities across the states after receiving relentless support in my classroom to achieve their goals. I am a member of the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee at our High School that engages in critical conversations to grow our student and staff culture around belonging. Lastly, I serve on the IMC (Instructional Material Committee) through the district office to vet and approve material that is taught in all five of our buildings in the community. Show less

My first year of teaching was split between Sehome High School and Bellingham High School, giving me a diverse opportunity to see two buildings, two staffs, and two student populations through the lens of an Educator. I was challenged to teach underclassmen and upperclassmen, creating content from scratch as a new teacher for English 101, American Literature, and Mythology.
