As the mitapivat brand lead, I manage the strategy and promotions team in the development and pull through of launch strategy for mitapivat (AG-348). I oversee the global commercial launch plan and ensure alignment across functions on long-term strategy through launch readiness reviews and the mitapivat launch team. Responsible for driving awareness of pyruvate kinase (PK) deficiency through the prioritization, development, and implementation of disease education initiatives. Partner with external thought leaders and patient advocates to develop a community and drive engagement. Collaborate with medical affairs and patient advocacy to execute US-focused HCP engagement and patient finding initiatives. Manage the agency of record and overall program budget.

Developing and driving U.S. launch team strategy, operations, and planning.Identifying and aligning resources to launch plan, key decisions, interdependencies, and risk factors.Decision support - development of analyses and presentations on key issues that require executive decisions (i.e. contracting, commercial co-pay, etc) while ensuring decisions are tracking to launch planning needs.Sub-team lead for patient services, marketing, and launch meeting.

Brand lead for the U.S. Strensiq Marketing team. Responsible for brand planning and strategy, all promotional efforts (both physician- and patient-focused), as well as the digital marketing strategy.

Led the pre-launch activities for Strensiq, including development of all promotional materials (print and digital), training the sales team, and building the Hypophosphatasia Speakers Bureau and advisory panel.

As a member of the Enbrel Dermatology brand team, my key responsibilities include speaker bureau training and management, advisory boards, national and regional convention planning, sales training, agency management, budget management, and personal promotions.

Develop and execute primary market research projects to evaluate and shape Enbrel Dermatology's marketing efforts. Regularly present to the senior leadership team, synthesizing insights from multiple primary and secondary research projects, sales data, and competitive intelligence. Work in close collaboration with market research and marketing colleagues from our co-promote partner, Pfizer. Independently managed all primary research for Dermatology (including Dermatologists and patients). Primary market research topics include message development, sales aid development and testing, sales force effectiveness, TV and print campaign development, testing and tracking (TV, print, online), positioning, segmentation, buying process, demand studies, device evaluation, and patient journey.Lead the design and execution of primary research for a pipeline inflammation product to inform marketing strategy, clinical trial design, messaging, and positioning. Work closely with co-promote partner, AstraZeneca.

Independently led the market research efforts for Vectibix (Oncology). Autonomously managed $2M of market research across US and global, including several key strategic frameworks (i.e. customer portraits, benefit ladders, positioning, messaging) and US activities (patient identification platform, competitor messaging, etc).

Independently led the market research efforts for several pipeline assets as a member of the Global Market Research team. Provided strategic market research insights for multiple clients and brands including several oncology pipeline products, inflammation pipeline products, NPLATE, Aranesp New Indications, and Aranesp Nephrology.

Provided qualitative and quantitative market research insights for the Aranesp New Indications team.

Developed immunoassays to support clinical and preclinical trials for multiple Amgen products. Remotely managed a Canadian contract laboratory to which we outsourced approximately $2 million dollars of research. Managed 4 staff members.

Developed immunoassays in support of several pre-clinical and clinical studies of Amgen products.

Led the Hepatitis/Retrovirus Technical Product Development team for the HIV immunoassay on the Architect platform.

As a member of the Hepatitis A assay development team, I independently developed highly sensitive immunoassays to detect antibodies via the AxSYM platform.Worked with other members of the Hepatitis C development team to develop immunoassays on the IMX platform.
