- Understanding of direct mail formats, specs and postal regulations- Sending out printing and mailshop specifications for bid- Vendor selection, negotiation, and management of vendor relationship- Proofreading (includes spelling and grammar)- Working with creative department on paper selection, ink choices and other finishing treatments as needed- Overseeing entire print process including tracking and reporting to ensure mail delivery within in-home window- Ensuring quality assurance with every aspect of the job- Coordinating postal drops and providing postal expertise when needed- Maintaining weekly status reports for direct mail projects- Keeping up with new technology related to printing/lettershop/postal regulations- Financial responsibility for vendor negotiations, budget forecasting and payment of invoices and postage checks- Maintaining project samples
